We work closely with schools to open doors through our Mentoring, Branch Out & Cook and Branch Out & Build schemes.
In 2024 we will launch our Apprenticeship Ready scheme aimed at mentoring, equipping and inspiring young people to step into apprenticeships and employment.

We’ve trained our staff in Gang & County Line Awareness, and are increasingly partnering with the Police to promote community partnership working.
The model of The Branch, a local ’one-stop’ model, will provide access to holistic support in all these areas, hopefully resulting in a significant rise in the level of engagement.
We are working with Community Albums, a charity which seeks to develop people and give communities a voice through music and media. Our first film highlights just how little there is to do for youth in our town in the holiday.
Outcome
After Community Albums’ film on arson, based in Banbury, the police reported a 63% reduction in arson the following year. Watch Video
42% of all referrals to Youth Services have come from St Mary’s Church, 50% of those referred have moved out of unemployment into education, training or employment.
