We work with compassion, creativity and collaboration
at the heart of the community.
"The Joy of discovering that there is help waiting in the wings, and they’d wanted to help you since before you even got to needing it.”
Evie Morris is just one of the local people that The Branch helps in many different ways. Evie's life was so transformed by The Branch that she has been waiting for a chance to say Thank You for five years. On 30th March 2025, she is going to shave off her hair that hasn't been touched since lockdown, to raise funds for The Branch.
Evie's story is well worth a read, click the link to:
The Branch Brings Joy
A safe, welcoming café, where there is an opportunity to craft, knit, crochet, play games, chat or just sit quietly and enjoy a magazine with a cuppa and a piece of cake.
There is also a 'help desk' offering assistance with form filling, benefits and signposting to further support as well as accessing our Branch Out & Budget packs. There are regular opportunities to talk to the Citizen's Advice drop in and currently we also offer support to Ukrainian hosts and guests, partnering with Asylum Welcome and a local translator.
Drop in, no referral needed, all ages welcome, free.
Whether you wish to donate, fundraise or support The Branch, your contribution will be welcome in helping us achieve our vision of a brighter future.
His Royal Highness met with over 40 members of staff, volunteers, trustees, supporters and beneficiaries of The Branch.
The visit shone a light on the work of The Branch in supporting local communities, which is yet another example of great community spirit within the County of Oxfordshire.

"I have been hugely impressed by the drive and determination of the team to get the Old Bank project off the ground. I have no doubt that it will be a huge success and with the involvement of partners from the public and voluntary sector will play an important role in the life of Chipping Norton and, more importantly, be a huge boost to the lives of the individuals that it touches."
Matthew Barber, Deputy Police & Crime Commissioner for Thames Valley
"A great initiative by St Mary’s Church. The building is in a central location, accessible and attractive. It’s a perfect base for us and other local agencies to provide supportive services for local people."
Vivian Rosser, CEO, Cottsway (Social Housing Provider in Oxfordshire
"This project is really positive for Chipping Norton – not only does it offer much needed support to some of the most vulnerable residents, but it will provide a new lease of life for this period building in the heart of the town. It's an innovative way to build stronger communities and at the same time reinvigorate and sustain the town centre."
James Mills, Leader of West Oxfordshire District Council
